Champak Lal (manoj joshi) is the owner of a marriage bureau but his son Mansukh (himesh) is a total failure in life. All alliances he tried to set up have ended up as breakups even before marriage. To prove his mettle, he decides to fix an alliance between Indu (asin), sister of the dreaded don TT (mithun) and inspector Bahattar Singh (Akshay Kumar) who is based in Punjab. Mansukh manages to convince TT to pretend as a cop. But what they don’t know is Bahattar Singh, his father Sattar Singh (raj babbar) and his uncle Ikhattar Singh (mukesh rishi) are actually conmen. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.Khiladi 786 Hindi Cinema ReviewPresentation:
The director has come up with a fun filled storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was good in parts.  The dialogues were witty, the script was illogical but the screenplay was above average. The background score was effective and three songs were worth humming.  Cinematography was top notch. Editing was required at few places. Costumes were well designed and natural while the art department was excellent. Akshay Kumar is the life and soul of the film and he delivers once again. Asin was there for the glamour and romance. Himesh Reshammiya carried out his role with elan. Manoj Joshi was neat, Mithun Chakraborty was good, Raj Babbar was regular. Mukesh Rishi made his presence felt strongly and was very impressive. The others added their bit as required. Khiladi 786 Filem ReviewConclusion:
The trend in Bollywood has changed a lot lately and the focus is more on entertainment and fun than giving depth to the plot or creating logic out of it. The first half goes on smooth note and is filled with the elements of songs, action and comedy. The second half comprises of few twists and turns and ultimately the climax was a bit complicated but enjoyable. Overall, this is a film meant for those who want two hours of fun leaving their brains behind. At the box office, it would be an above average grosser.

Bharatstudent Verdict: Regular fun filled masala entertainer, watch it for comedy and not logic
